Internationally acclaimed jewellery designer, Stephen Webster has yet again wowed the crowds with his exquisite fine jewellery couture collection ‘The Seven Deadly Sins’.
Fabulously decadent, each of the seven beautifully hand-crafted cocktail rings portrays one of the oldest and darkest Christian teachings, The Seven Deadly Sins.
Beautifully set with a selection of exotic gemstones including Tanzanite, Peridot, Fire Opal, Aquamarine, Amethyst, Red Garnet and Diamonds, The Seven Deadly Sins are a whimsical, stylised depiction of the ancient vices; Pride, Greed, Envy, Wrath, Lust, Gluttony and Sloth.

Our ‘ITEM OF THE WEEK ‘ this week pays tribute to the entire collection as we think it is simply outstanding!

“In the context of the 21st Century, the seven deadly sins may not be admirable but are no longer considered punishable by death” commented Stephen Webster. “And whilst everyone knows what each of the sins represent, not everyone knows the individual punishments administered in hell by the old devil himself or that each sin is characterized by a luminous colour.   The time felt right to revisit the original sins; but this time with the addition of seven defining pieces of jewellery.”

The Seven Deadly Sins collection will be limited to seven sets of seven rings only and will be available from Stephen Webster boutiques from December 2010. Prices are from £15,000 to £98,000.

  1. Mrs A says:

Have to say I am lusting after Pride, followed closely by Sloth. Greed is also magnificent.

  2. Juliet says:

My favourite is SLOTH ( love the red padded cushion) followed by Pride – you can see the peacock in that ring!

  3. Philippa says:

All very clever but I’m afraid Greed comes first followed by Sloth and Lust. I am happy to have one of each if someone else was paying the bill !!

  4. Clare Hynes says:

    My favourite is Pride!

  5. Nonie says:

WRATH!! Those angry hands!! Although I wouldn’t mind a sin for every day of the week. I mean a ring!

  6. Siobhan says:

Ah, you have reminded me to finally blog about this! My favourite is most certainly Lust – to me, the writhing limbs are very Dante. Pride’s coloured titanium is very clever though too, it seems very well thought out collection, love it!
