Duro Olowu

A Portobello Road based designer who once catapulted to fame on the back of a Kaftan style dress came back this year with more iconic “must haves” and a palette inspired by late Picasso. His bright bold prints and quirky styles were accessorized by long layered beads and tribal charms- neckwear the focus of this collection.

Fashion East

Holly Fulton’s textile design background is so evident in this collection; her stylized graphic prints are inspired by an Eduardo Paolozzi work called Wittgenstein in New York. The reference to Deco imagery and her saturated colours are complimented by bright acrylic and crystal neckpieces, earrings and cuffs.

Burberry Prorsum

Back to London, Bailey played his strategy out well with the reinvention of the iconic trench. At Burberry it was all about wrist wear- bangles in transparent nude tones, stacked often in pairs, were a perfect accompaniment to the draped silhouettes of a military inspired collection.

Jaeger

Big, oversize pendant chokers and statement necklaces dominated the catwalk with a few references to geometric earrings. Tribal jewellery added a sense of drama to the simple silhouettes and colour blocks suggested by the garments.
