Eley Kishimoto

Eley Kishimoto uses acrylic resort inspired jewellery to accessories her collection. Flag shaped disc neckpieces; geometric shapes and coral swan cut-outs suggest a tribal/riviera theme. Jewellery in white, coral and cobalt make a striking statement, complimenting her tile-like prints, fine stripe and check.

Mary Katrantzou

Mary Katrantzou S/S 10 Collection is inspired by blown glass, the prints and structure of the garments are offset by the blown glass jewellery. Mary’s pieces mirror the colour combinations and structure of the sewn garment. The molten fluidity of swirled colours depicted on the garments is reflected in the statement jewellery. Cuffs and colliers dominated the show.

Maria Franscesca Pepe

Maria Franscesca Pepe’s S/S 10 Collection is inspired by the 1940’s film, Bathing Beauties. Pleated “fin-like” jewellery and headbands inspired by swimming caps covered by crystals or silver plaques and worn as earrings, are some of the elements that make up her new collection. Maria manages to capture the lightness of Erte’s drawings and the fluidity of Esther Williams’ dances, without compromising her signature geometric shapes.
