When it comes to competitive spirit, everyone’s talking about gold medals right now. But here at Adorn London HQ we’re rather fond of silver too and it seems we’re not the only ones. Celebrating his 8th capsule collection for Topshop, fashion designer Ashish has created a collection "designed for the underdog" comprising jackets and slouchy sweatshirts featuring slogans such as ‘2nd place’ and ‘Don’t play games’ as well as some rather stonking silver sneaks.
If you’re inspired to adopt a similarly sporty vibe, may we suggest Pierre Hardy’s metallic leather high-top trainers at Net-A-Porter with some sequin knickers which are also from Topshop? And because getting sweaty is no excuse for not looking hot, add a sexy red lip with a slash of Tom Ford’s Cherry Lush lipstick from Selfridges.
Suitably kitted out in your sassy urban look, add the finishing touches with jewellery inspired by our favourite silver-hued pieces including Hannah Warner’s archery-themed ring, Tiffany &Co.’s wristband-like cuff, as well as Mawi’s neon bead ring and Bottega Veneta’s hoops – which together remind us of the Olympic rings. Last but not least, who needs a medal when you’ve got Chanel’s gorgeous white gold pendant round your neck.
