Among the many, many goodies at the London Fashion Week SS2013 exhibition this week, our fancy was particularly tickled by Walt Disney’s ‘Inspired By Minnie Mouse’ display in the corridors of Somerset House. Comprising a series of ‘Minnie Mouse Must Haves’ – each celebrating the style of one of Disney’s iconic lady mouse – the bespoke items on show have been created by British design talent including shoemeister Terry de Havilland, milliner Piers Atkinson, fashion designers Giles Deacon, Richard Nicoll and Meaham Kirchhof, and jewellers Husam el Odeh, Tatty Devine and Katie Hillier.

If, like us, you’re smitten by any of these pieces, or you’d like to see the full range, every item is currently available at an exclusive auction on eBay with all proceeds donated to support the BFC/Bazaar Fashion Arts Foundation, a British Fashion Council initiative to nurture relationships between creative industries.
