Fortnum & Mason is famous for several things – its most excellent afternoon teas, a ground floor packed to the rafters with all manner of exotic delicacies, and some of the best window displays in town.
This week saw the 306-year old Piccadilly store give us another reason to visist when it unveiled its new jewellery department on the second floor.
As well as showcasing the latest collections from well-known names such as Jade Jagger, Alex Monroe and Kenneth Jay Lane it will house brand-new pieces created exclusively for the shop by the likes of Stephen Webster, Fernando Jorge and Alexis Bittar. In addition designs by Nicholas Kirkwood, Christopher Kane, The Diana Vreeland Legacy Collection, Stefano Poletti and Vanessa Seward feature in the Atelier Swarovski collection.
As part of the launch, Fortnum & Mason became the first retailer to host the Rock Vault exhibition, following its showcase at London Fashion Week in February. If you want to see it for yourselves you can catch it until Sunday 21 April.
