My Wish List: David Webb Cocktail rings

The late David Webb’s love for nature, organic forms and animal jewellery had the Manhattan social set flocking to the designer’s New York boutique on 57th Street during the 50s and 60s. By the early 1970s, David Webb embraced a new style that reflected the changing fashion and trends of the time, a style that, whilst still rooted in the natural world, embraced new techniques such as hammering and enamel. Colour and texture were to become an integral part of the brand’s design aesthetic which still holds true today. Here are two of my favourite cocktail rings from the David Webb jewellery repertoire that I would love to have in my jewellery box this season and beyond.
