London Jewellery Week had plenty of highlights for us this year, but without a doubt one of our favourite moments was meeting Dickson Yewn – a wonderful Chinese jeweller and the latest guest designer to showcase his work at the Sloane Square boutique of jewellery doyenne Annoushka Ducas. Through his intricate designs – many of which include moving components and secret compartments – Dickson "explores the concepts that are central to Chinese philosophy and culture whilst also echoing the unique aesthetics present in many different forms of decorative arts in China". Our standout piece, since you’re asking? The ‘Wish Fulfilling Lattice’ ring below, fashioned from 18ct white gold, diamonds and a mouthwatering slice of jade. *sigh*
