I am not sure that Kirsten Goss would love me for her new title, but on the day that I saw her at her gorgeous designer jewellery boutique on Holland Street, she was wearing a fabulous leopard print dress with shots of cobalt and patent yellow shoes. Kirsten, recently featured on CNN, changes her jewellery collections every season, injecting new colour and gemstones into her signature styling. We pawed over the new season jewels and ate sushi whilst catching up on our lives (Kirsten and I were at University together and spent many a long evening soldering our jewelled creations in the workshops of the Fine Art department). I loved her ‘stirrup’ earrings – lashings of chain that appealed to both my must-have sensibilities – fringing and shoulder-dusters. In fact I loved them so much, I walked out of the shop with a pair to wear to my next meeting!! The chunky gemstones set amongst the velvety layers of tiger’s eye meant that the collection was spot on in terms of our winter wardrobe with the orange accent taking it into Spring/Summer 2011 too!
This is one cat who knows what she is talking about!
