It seems fitting to launch our Vintage Week with a pair of earrings from the House of Coco Chanel. The brand launched its first jewellery collection in collaboration with jeweller, Robert Goossens. The result was a line of jewels that exquisitely complemented Chanel’s iconic fashion designs, including her signature cardigan jacket ‘little black dress’ and the ‘Chanel suit’ – an elegant creation composed of a knee-length skirt and trim, boxy jacket, traditionally made of wool with black trim and gold buttons stylised with the Coco Chanel logo of an overlapping double ‘C’. Recently launched, Gigi Vintage have the perfect pair of Chanel logo clip-on earrings – a tribute to the timeless elegance and classic statement that resonates from Chanel. These gorgeous signed earrings hail from the 1980s and have a beautiful patterned border surrounding the famous ‘CC’ logo in the centre. We can’t resist the fact that they resemble buttons, too.
