I love the fact that Anna Wintour wears a jewel gem choker necklace as her style statement. If ‘Tutti Frutti’ is on trend, she layers up a few citrus jewel strands and if oversize is where it’s at, her gems just get bigger. Nicole Kidman’s appearance on the Red Carpet at the Oscars this year caught my attention, as the film star worked the choker style with a rare 19th century diamond Riviere necklace from Fred Leighton to complement her dazzling Dior dress. Bottega Veneta’s AW2011 catwalk show elevated the jewel drop choker to seasonal ‘must have’ status. With this in mind, these four jewels go a long way to style the look.
