Zoe and Morgan are sister and brother. From an early age they were immersed in the world of jewellery. Their father’s workshop was called ‘Moon Bird’, a place where they both watched the process of jewellery making from start to finish; sparkling materials, careful combinations; the delicate assembly work and then the final piece, heavy and wondrous in their small hands. Their formative years saw them accompany their parents in the pursuit of exotic materials from New Zealand to Spain and India.
Their shared history was deeply entrenched and influenced the way they viewed the places, people and objects they encountered. A trip to India and a pocket full of precious stones inspired Zoe and Morgan to form their own brand. This was the beginning of the brand ‘Zoe and Morgan’.
Their first collection, ‘We Love Jewels’, launched in August 2005 at Paris Fashion Week. Each piece was handmade using a combination of both modern and traditional techniques; their style has always been personal, innovative and bold. This debut showcased their fondness for contrast – contemporary, well proportioned design, combined with an undeniable rock ‘n’ roll edge.
‘Zoe and Morgan’ jewellery is poetic and is often inspired by trips to Bali. They describe their jewels as an eye-catching glimpse; a delicate and sophisticated shadow; the whisper of a cloud softly resting on your neck; an eagle’s wing poised on your finger; or a mother of pearl skull locked in gold and winding round your fragile wrist.
‘Zoe and Morgan’ jewellery has been featured in Vogue, Elle, Glamour, InStyle and Net-a-Porter – on hot lists, best summer buys and evening wear ‘wish lists’. Their business has grown with clients all over the world. Their sister, Ruth has now also joined the team as Zoe and Morgan expand into the wardrobes of celebrities and fashionistas alike.
