All the feather and plume on the catwalk was bound to have an impact on jewellery. Givenchy made a statement with this full feathered sleeve and Alexander McQueen’s theatrical image of a girl covered head to toe in plumeswas a showstopper. Alexander Wang’s feather interpretation was to attach downy white wings to a garment. These were a few of the feathered references at the Autumn Winter 09 catwalk shows.
